SYRACUSE, NEW YORK – Congressman John Katko has again received the unwavering support of the Onondaga County Republican Committee.  The Committee unanimously endorsed Katko this evening for his re-election to serve as Representative for New York’s 24th Congressional District.

Onondaga County Republican Chairman Tom Dadey said, “With Democrats at all levels of government pushing out-of-touch policies, it is more important than ever that we elect representatives to fight back against costly and dangerous proposals like Medicare-for-All and bail reform.  Congressman Katko has always been a strong and effective leader for Central New York, and the Onondaga Committee stands firmly with him.  We are confident he will win re-election in November.”

Congressman Katko said, “I am incredibly grateful for the continued and unwavering support of the Onondaga County Republican Committee.  I’m proud to work in Washington to advocate for local interests, like improving the economy, protecting our national security, addressing the heroin epidemic, and strengthening access to mental healthcare. We have so much more to do, and with the support of Chairman Dadey and the Onondaga County Republican Committee, I am confident we will continue to accomplish results for Central New York.”

Congressman Katko has been unanimously endorsed by the Oswego County Republican Committee.  The Cayuga and Wayne County Republicans will hold endorsement meetings this month.
