AUBURN, NEW YORK – Congressman John Katko this morning received the unanimous endorsement of the Cayuga County Republican Committee for his re-election to serve as Representative for New York’s 24th Congressional District.

Cayuga County Republican Chair Roberta Massarini said, “Cayuga County is proud to be represented by John Katko in Congress.  He is a leader in Washington on national security, works tirelessly to end the opioid epidemic, and is fighting back against far-left proposals which would cause every family in our community to pay more in taxes.  We are proud to stand with Congressman Katko in this fight.”

“I’m grateful to have once again earned the support of the Cayuga County Republicans, and I share the goal of Chair Massarini and the Committee of growing our economy and working to create better opportunities for families in Cayuga County and throughout Central New York,” said Congressman Katko.  “I’m proud to work for Cayuga County to keep drinking water clean, provide resources to individuals struggling with opioid addiction, and ensure our farmers and local manufacturers can compete on a level playing field.”

In addition to today’s endorsement, Congressman Katko has been unanimously endorsed by the Oswego and Onondaga County Republican Committees.  Wayne County Republicans will hold an endorsement meeting later this month.
