During COVID, John Katko Took Action to Deliver for Central New York

Syracuse, New York – Katko for Congress today released a new television advertisement, highlighting Congressman John Katko’s efforts to deliver for Central New York during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Central New York doctor, Joseph, explains that when COVID-19 hit, Central New York medical centers needed supplies. While some politicians played partisan games, Congressman John Katko immediately began working across party lines to hold the Administration accountable and to deliver aid and testing locally.

The ad also features Marcellus resident, Joan, who expresses how frightening the COVID-19 pandemic has been for local seniors, but shares that John Katko took action to deliver

Congressman Katko, who has been ranked the second most bipartisan member in Congress by the non-partisan Lugar Center/Georgetown University, immediately began working across party lines when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.  He delivered millions of dollars to local hospitals and community health centers, and ensured healthcare centers had testing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  He’s stood up for Central New York seniors, ensuring access to benefits and healthcare during the ongoing crisis, and he’s led the fight to hold New York State accountable for its flawed nursing home policies.

The ad, available here, began airing today on area broadcast and cable, and on digital platforms.
