KATKO CAMPAIGN CALLS ON BALTER TO STAND UP FOR CNY FAMILIES OVER RADICAL CNY SOLIDARITY COALITION

SYRACUSE, New York — Following a demonstration yesterday at Lockheed Martin organized by the “CNY Solidarity Coalition,” a radical progressive group founded by Dana Balter, Katko for Congress Campaign Manager Jeff Bishop released the following statement:

“Lockheed Martin is one of the largest employers in our region, providing good paying jobs and supporting hundreds of families.  This week the far-left CNY Solidarity Coalition – an activist group founded by Visiting Professor Dana Balter – stood outside of Lockheed Martin in protest of the hardworking men and women employed there.  Central New Yorkers deserve to know if Dana Balter will stand up for this historic Syracuse employer, or if she’ll stand with her radical, out-of-touch organization instead.  If Dana Balter is serious about representing Central New York families in Congress, she’ll step down from this organization and denounce its disturbing activism.”
